Requirements

  • Have 3+ years of relevant accounting experience; prior Senior Accountant experience is preferred.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related accounting discipline.
  • Understand public-company month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Have working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control principles.
  • Demonstrate strong Excel proficiency and confidence working with financial data and reconciliations.
  • Be able to investigate and resolve accounting issues independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Be willing to travel to the corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or other office locations across North America when required.
  • SaaS general ledger accounting experience is preferred.
  • Big Four or public accounting experience is a plus.
  • CPA certification or active CPA candidacy is preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite, OneStream, or other ERP systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the general ledger for assigned subsidiaries and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Own payroll and employee-related accounting, including actuals, accruals, bonuses, commissions, severance, retirement contributions, benefits, and reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end close by preparing journal entries and completing assigned accounting activities by established deadlines.
  • Analyze monthly financial statements and variances, and summarize flux analysis for management.
  • Prepare work papers and reconciliations for assigned balance sheet and selected income statement accounts, investigate discrepancies, and recommend resolutions.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, Legal, Tax, Internal Audit, and other stakeholders on accounting treatment.
  • Support intercompany, lease, debt, segment, and M&A-related accounting processes.
  • Maintain internal controls and support SOX and IPE compliance for assigned processes.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to improve general ledger and month-end close processes.
