Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Have 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of current US GAAP accounting.
- Be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Manage multiple tasks and switch between projects in a fast-changing environment.
- Work independently and collaboratively with others.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
- Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the North America accounting close process and meet the monthly close schedule.
- Prepare and review journal entries and complete reconciliations on time.
- Manage daily accounting activities, including leases, prepaid expenses, intercompany transactions, and complex accruals.
- Participate in external audits by collecting financial and accounting data.
- Develop, maintain, and document policies and procedures for assigned areas.
- Coordinate with GL Operations, SEC Reporting, and Technical Accounting teams.
- Contribute to M&A accounting responsibilities.
- Collaborate with business partners to implement operating processes and controls.
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities, and lead their execution.
- Support management with special projects and ad hoc assignments.
