Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of experience in software testing or QA engineering, including hands-on Java-based test automation.
- Apply manual test design techniques, risk-based testing, release quality assessment, automation strategy, and QA methodologies.
- Create and maintain test plans, test designs, test cases, and test reports.
- Manage defects, including severity and priority assessment, defect trend analysis, and risk communication.
- Perform API testing, web services testing, integration validation, automated API checks, and test evidence collection.
- Write Java for test automation.
- Write SQL/SOQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and test evidence collection.
- Define or apply quality gates, test metrics, and release readiness criteria.
- Work with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Collaborate independently and with cross-functional teams, and contribute to testing process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end and integration test scenarios across multiple system components.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for business logic, integrations, and cross-system workflows.
- Perform testing for Salesforce and enterprise integration initiatives using manual testing and automation where applicable.
- Analyze defects, defect trends, and quality metrics to identify system, process, or coverage issues.
- Review automation results, investigate failures, and maintain stable regression coverage.
- Contribute to release validation by reporting test results, defects, and quality risks.
- Manage the defect lifecycle, including triage, prioritization, escalation, and communication of quality risks.
- Track testing progress and contribute to quality reporting and improvements in test coverage and execution efficiency.
