Requirements
- Have 5+ years of industrial sales experience, preferably in hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Bring a strong background in solution-based or consultative selling.
- Have experience developing sales proposals, presentations, and account plans.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent industry experience.
- Fluid Power certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, mechanical systems, electrical controls, or PLCs is a plus.
- Be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Be self-motivated and organized in a customer-facing sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow long-term relationships with engineers, purchasing leaders, maintenance teams, and operations decision makers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
- Conduct customer visits, prospecting activities, and technical sales discussions.
- Provide consultative solutions using hydraulic, pneumatic, and engineered system capabilities.
- Prepare and deliver customer proposals, presentations, and solution recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, purchasing, and leadership to deliver solutions.
- Maintain an active opportunity pipeline and manage customer relationships through the CRM platform.
- Partner with manufacturer representatives and leadership on key sales calls and strategic opportunities.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve sales and margin growth.
