Requirements
- Have at least 5 years of management experience and 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Bring deep understanding of customers, business dynamics, and market conditions, and translate that knowledge into value-added solutions and services.
- Demonstrate ability to identify operational adjustments and implement changes to meet business objectives.
- Have experience coaching sales processes, delivering product training, and supporting professional development.
- Demonstrate people leadership, performance management, coaching, and talent-development capabilities.
- Bring B2B business development experience, including sales, upselling, retention, solution development, and customer growth.
- Have experience implementing business and account plans, improving customer experience, and increasing product awareness and adoption.
- Demonstrate practical experience with solution selling and consultative sales methodologies.
- Be able to build relationships with key stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Xactly, and other relevant business and sales tools.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- Experience in law enforcement and risk/fraud solutions and a proven record of sales performance are preferred.
- Be able to work remotely; candidates with access to a company hub in Washington, D.C., Minnesota, Michigan, or Texas are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Sales Specialists accountable for generating new sales, achieving revenue targets, and engaging customers.
- Improve customer satisfaction by ensuring the team understands customer needs and positions relevant solutions.
- Translate organizational goals and strategic initiatives into team priorities and execution.
- Develop plans, establish priorities, and align team activities with leadership objectives and financial targets.
- Maintain sales forecasts, customer evaluations, Salesforce records, and reporting while monitoring market and competitor activity.
- Coach team members on sales processes, product knowledge, professional development, account planning, negotiation, and customer experience.
- Monitor individual and team performance through coaching, ride-alongs, call monitoring, activity reviews, and other measures.
- Partner with Sales leadership, Marketing, Field Sales, Finance, Human Resources, and other support functions to maximize opportunities.
- Build relationships with customers and key stakeholders, including senior and C-level decision-makers.
- Support upselling, retention, solution development, and continuous improvement of sales processes and team execution.
