Requirements
- 7+ years of sales experience within the public sector (state and/or federal government).
- Proven history of closing complex, high-value technology deals.
- Strong understanding of government procurement cycles, budgeting, and compliance.
- Experience managing multi-threaded enterprise opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in collaborative, team-based selling within matrixed organizations.
- Experience selling SaaS platforms, legal technology, or AI-powered solutions.
- Familiarity with public-sector AI adoption, data governance, and security standards like FedRAMP.
- Experience using Salesforce and conducting virtual demonstrations.
- Exceptional executive presence and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple sales cycles simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as required across assigned territories.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of HighQ, CoCounsel, and future partnership solutions across government accounts.
- Lead full-cycle sales motions including prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, negotiation, and closing.
- Navigate complex government procurement processes such as RFPs, sole-source justifications, and GSA schedules.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including product specialists, solution engineers, and legal stakeholders.
- Build relationships with state attorneys general, federal agencies, and legislative bodies.
- Manage pipeline activity and deal reporting within Salesforce.
- Develop ROI and value-based business cases for executive and agency leadership.
