- Benefits verification experience is strongly preferred.
- Have strong computer skills.
- Have communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Be proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Provide your own computer for the remote BYOD position.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Review coverage, cost share, provider options, and restrictions.
- Contact insurance companies and document benefit details.
- Assist with prior authorizations and claims appeals when needed.
- Complete accurate data entry and quality reviews.
- Identify and escalate missing information or reimbursement issues.
