Requirements

  • Have physician recruitment experience in a healthcare or insurance setting, or an equivalent transferable skill set.
  • Have working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and medical terminology.
  • Understand general state and federal compliance guidelines.
  • Demonstrate negotiation, communication, critical-thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Manage time efficiently and meet specific deadlines.
  • Have computer literacy and typing skills.
  • Supply and support your own internet service for this work-from-home position and maintain an uninterrupted internet connection.
  • Be able to travel and perform in-person recruitment and clinic visits.
  • An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Business experience in healthcare or insurance is preferred.
  • Expert witness recruiting experience and legal-related industry expertise are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain physician panel profiles, instructions, fees, groups, and W9 remit-to information.
  • Research and conduct outreach when new panel options are needed.
  • Recruit and onboard physicians based on client needs, obtaining agreements, applications, CVs, W9s, and NPDB materials.
  • Negotiate physician agreement fees and contract terms within pre-established guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Network leadership to set agreement fees and provide dictation or Access DS instructions as needed.
  • Recruit and manage doctors in regional strategic markets to support IME exam services and physician specialty needs.
  • Conduct in-person clinic visits and recruitment and relationship-management visits with current and prospective panel physicians.
  • Source and fulfill urgent open service requests, providing daily updates on sourcing efforts.
  • Procure exam locations and add available resources in target areas to Dane Street’s database.
  • Provide scheduling assistance to Operations and support scheduling capacity.
