Requirements
- Physician recruitment experience in a healthcare or insurance setting, or an equivalent transferable skill set.
- Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and medical terminology.
- General knowledge of state and federal compliance guidelines.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Critical-thinking and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Computer literacy and typing skills are required.
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Business experience in healthcare and/or insurance is preferred.
- Legal-related industry expertise is preferred.
- Must supply and support their own internet service and maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for work-from-home.
Responsibilities
- Maintain physician profiles, fees, doctor groups, activation status, and W9 remit-to details.
- Research and conduct outreach when new physician panel options are needed.
- Onboard physicians based on client needs, including obtaining agreements, applications, CVs, W9s, and NPDB materials.
- Negotiate physician costs and contract terms within pre-established guidelines and work with Network leadership to set agreement fees.
- Provide dictation and Access DS instructions as needed.
- Recruit and manage doctors in regional strategic markets to meet business needs for IME exam services and physician specialties.
- Conduct in-person clinic visits and recruitment and relationship-management visits with current and prospective panel physicians.
- Source and fulfill open service requests requiring urgent network recruitment and provide daily updates on sourcing efforts.
- Procure exam locations as needed and add them to the database of resources for blocked-time doctors.
- Assist with scheduling to support Operations and maximize scheduling capacity.
