Requirements
- Physician recruitment experience in a healthcare or insurance setting, or an equivalent transferable skill set.
- Working knowledge of physician networks, recruitment, medical specialties, and medical terminology.
- General knowledge of state and federal compliance guidelines.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Critical thinking, organizational, and time-management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines.
- Computer literacy and typing skills.
- Ability to travel and conduct in-person recruitment, relationship-management, and clinic visits.
- Ability to supply and support personal internet service and maintain an uninterrupted internet connection for work from home.
- An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Business experience in a healthcare or insurance setting is preferred.
- Legal-related industry expertise is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain physician profiles, instructions, fees, doctor groups, and physician status.
- Research and conduct outreach to find new physician panel options.
- Recruit and onboard physicians based on client needs, obtaining agreements, applications, CVs, W-9s, and NPDB materials.
- Negotiate physician costs and contract terms within pre-established guidelines.
- Coordinate with Network leadership to set agreement fees and provide dictation or Access DS instructions as needed.
- Recruit and manage physicians in regional strategic markets to support IME exam services and business needs across specialties.
- Conduct in-person clinic visits and recruitment and relationship-management visits with current and prospective panel physicians.
- Support Operations with scheduling and sourcing urgent referrals, including daily updates on sourcing efforts.
- Procure exam locations and add available resources in target areas to the company database.
