Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer building customer-facing products.
- Bring strong modern frontend skills in React and TypeScript.
- Have backend depth in API design, data modeling, and working with production databases.
- Have experience building and shipping features on iOS alongside web.
- Have a track record of owning customer-facing features from problem definition through design, launch, and iteration.
- Partner closely with product and design as a peer and contribute ideas, not just implement specifications.
- Work with high ownership and self-direction in a small, remote team with little process.
- Have clear written communication skills.
- Nice to have: hands-on experience building with AI or agentic systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across the React/TypeScript web app, iOS app, and backend services.
- Develop features for scheduling, payments, forms, messaging, and insurance verification.
- Own features from problem definition and solution design through rollout and iteration.
- Partner with product and design to shape solutions and contribute ideas.
- Identify friction in how clinics and patients use the product and make the case for improvements.
- Find and define worthwhile problems to solve.
- Mentor other engineers and improve how the team designs, reviews, and ships.
- Influence product direction and technical decisions across the PX product.
