Have 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Have 5+ years of extensive experience working with Go.
Understand Internet technologies and concepts, including DNS record types, WHOIS, and certificate Subject Alternative Names (SANs).
Have deep experience designing and building horizontally scalable distributed systems with high availability and fault tolerance.
Have hands-on experience with service-oriented and microservice architectures, including gRPC, REST, Kubernetes, and GCP.
Have experience with event-driven architectures, ideally using GCP Pub/Sub or similar messaging technologies.
Be able to understand unfamiliar legacy systems, reverse-engineer existing behavior, and resolve complex issues with minimal disruption.
Demonstrate technical design, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
Have a commitment to maintainable software, automated testing, CI/CD quality controls, linting, code complexity management, and established engineering patterns.
Experience leading product migrations or platform consolidations while supporting legacy customers and developing new capabilities in parallel is a plus.
Have an interest in applying AI and LLM technologies to engineering velocity, automation, and product experiences, with sound judgment around responsible adoption.

Define technical direction, architecture, and system design practices for the Exposure Management team.
Lead migration of legacy attack surface management capabilities to the modern Exposure Management platform.
Own backend services end to end, resolving legacy behavior and ensuring interoperability between legacy and new systems.
Design, build, and evolve large-scale real-time streaming services that process extensive datasets.
Drive technical alignment across shared systems to improve scalability, coordination, reliability, and engineering effectiveness.
Lead architecture reviews and promote maintainable software through engineering practices, testing, CI, linting, and design patterns.
Mentor engineers and foster technical excellence, thoughtful architecture, and continuous improvement.
Apply AI and LLM technologies to improve engineering productivity, automate workflows, and enhance platform capabilities.
Partner across teams to identify systemic gaps, document technical decisions, and drive solutions from concept through implementation.
