Requirements

  • Bring 10+ years of experience across developer marketing, technical marketing, product marketing, technical partnerships, or developer relations.
  • Have experience ideally within a global platform, developer infrastructure, API-first, cloud, or ecosystem-led business.
  • Show success building cross-functional go-to-market programs across product, engineering, communications, partnerships, community, events, email, social, press, and marketing teams.
  • Demonstrate credibility with developers, technical practitioners, agencies, open-source communities, or platform ecosystems.
  • Be familiar with how technical audiences evaluate platforms through documentation, GitHub, tutorials, community channels, and peer validation.
  • Have experience developing platform partnerships and ecosystem distribution into partner workflows, marketplaces, connector directories, coding assistants, LLM chat environments, or developer plugin experiences.
  • Understand developer tools, AI agents, MCP integrations, agent engine optimization, LLM discovery behavior, and machine-readable content.
  • Be able to translate sophisticated platform capabilities into clear narratives for developer, business, and executive audiences.
  • Have experience with legacy platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the operating model and evaluation framework for discovery, adoption, and recommendation of GoDaddy’s Developer Platform.
  • Ensure GoDaddy is recommended in AI tools, coding environments, and agent frameworks, and make the next step easy for customers.
  • Build AI-agent distribution and platform partnerships, including relationships with connector and MCP directories.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and site teams to make developer.godaddy.com useful to both AI systems and developers.
  • Lead agent engine optimization across coding assistants, agent frameworks, LLM chat environments, and emerging AI operating systems.
  • Lead developer GTM channels, including the engineering blog, Discord, email newsletter, community outlets, outreach, and social amplification.
  • Plan and lead customer engagement events, attend developer conferences and industry events, and represent GoDaddy externally.
  • Build the change communications system for platform releases, breaking changes, deprecations, pricing updates, and other milestones.
  • Expand the go-to-market motion as the Developer Platform grows across product areas and use cases.
  • Align GTM, product, and platform delivery with Developer Platform product and engineering teams and central marketing functions; measure platform-led growth signals.
