Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience in outbound business development.
- Have 2+ years managing a BDR/SDR or Sales team in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrate attainment against pipeline and revenue targets.
- Have experience building processes and improving programs, including cadences, qualification criteria, territory design, compensation and quota structures, and reporting.
- Be able to explain conversion rates, pipeline coverage, and activity-to-outcome ratios.
- Have strong CRM and sales enablement proficiency, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, and be able to design reporting.
- Have experience selling HR tech or selling to HR leaders.
- Have experience applying AI tools to sales workflows, including outreach QA, call analysis, research, or enablement.
- Have experience building or scaling a BDR function in a hybrid or fully remote organization.
- Have experience with HubSpot, Leadfeeder, Dealfront, Gong, or similar technology.
- Be able to work within US timezones and regularly attend meetings in EMEA and APAC time zones.
- Be located near Central or Mountain Time Zones.
Responsibilities
- Establish pipeline management expectations, processes, reporting, and KPIs.
- Own BDR metrics and reporting, including dashboard design, data hygiene, and metric definitions.
- Create and communicate weekly pipeline forecasts to the BDR/SDR team and leadership.
- Use AI tooling, including Claude, to review BDR messages, calls, and emails and provide coaching feedback.
- Participate in regional quarterly business reviews with cross-functional and territory leaders.
- Partner with Sales leadership on outbound motions and with Marketing on inbound lead programs.
- Train, coach, and mentor BDRs, and support their professional development through role-playing and feedback.
- Carry a small number of contacts across territories and demonstrate sales strategies, messaging, and results.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain BDR talent; develop ramp plans and team documentation.
- Provide feedback and ideas to product management, Marketing, and Sales leadership.
