Requirements
- Have 1+ years of experience, or strong internship exposure, in mathematical or statistical modeling; Python-based analysis and model-building are preferred.
- Be familiar with Web3 concepts, including tokens, blockchains, and cryptocurrency, and be willing to learn about smart contracts, DAOs, and on-chain mechanics.
- Have extensive experience with tokens, including creation, minting, yield farming, issuing, burning, and staking.
- Understand financial models such as NPV, discount rates, and bonding curves, and statistical methods such as regression and hypothesis testing.
- Be proficient in Python, including tools such as NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn, and in Excel.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or another quantitative discipline, or have equivalent practical experience.
- Explain data-driven findings to technical and non-technical audiences through clear written and verbal communication.
- An advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required.
- Prior internship or analyst experience in a Web3 or blockchain-focused organization is preferred.
- Experience contributing to tokenomic strategies or simulations is preferred.
- Familiarity with R, SQL, or statistical software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Gather and interpret ecosystem data, and create reports using Python-based analysis and visualization tools.
- Support litepapers describing proposed cryptoeconomic frameworks, emphasizing quantitative insights.
- Build and maintain Python-based valuation and statistical models for tokenized systems, including basic simulations or stress tests.
- Contribute quantitative analysis to token economic systems, including incentive mechanisms, liquidity provisioning, and emissions schedules.
- Help develop governance frameworks informed by data on on-chain and off-chain structures, community involvement, and participation.
- Analyze governance metrics after launch and help refine structures, answer questions, and update project literature.
- Support and revise technical and data-driven sections of whitepapers for public presentation.
- Research emerging tokenomic models and share statistical or Python-based findings with the team.
