Requirements
- Have a high school diploma.
- Have a college degree or related work experience.
- Have 5-8 years of experience in Life and Disability relationship management.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Have strong knowledge of life and disability insurance products and processes.
- Be proficient with Windows, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook.
- Be able to travel 30-50%.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key strategic partners.
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships aligned with Symetra’s goals, and negotiate mutually valuable terms and agreements.
- Plan and execute annual partner stewardship meetings and broker advisory board meetings.
- Organize and participate in national and regional meetings with designated strategic partners.
- Follow up on key deliverables and track results to build ROI for sponsored events.
- Manage partner supplemental compensation agreements and ensure alignment with agreed objectives and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual payments.
- Travel 30-40% as assigned.
