Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, engineering, or technical consulting, including leadership across complex client programs or technical capabilities.
- Demonstrate deep Salesforce architecture and engineering expertise, including Apex, Lightning, platform limits, data and sharing design, integration, security, environments, packaging, and release management.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification is highly preferred.
- Bring engineering expertise beyond Salesforce, including Python, APIs, event-driven architectures, SQL, JavaScript or TypeScript, testing, automation, and application design patterns.
- Have broad enterprise technology experience across Salesforce Data 360/Data Cloud, Informatica, MuleSoft or comparable integration platforms, cloud data platforms, AWS/Azure/GCP services, DevOps, and observability.
- Have production experience with AI or agentic systems, including grounding, orchestration, evaluation, guardrails, observability, security, cost management, human oversight, and lifecycle management.
- Have experience designing secure systems in regulated environments and translating requirements such as HIPAA, HITRUST, FedRAMP, NIST, SOC 2, and privacy obligations into technical controls.
- Demonstrate experience standardizing CI/CD, automated quality and security controls, environment and release strategies, deployment evidence, rollback processes, and operational feedback across teams.
- Bring significant people-management experience leading engineers and technical leaders, developing successors, and improving quality while fostering trust and accountability.
- Have experience scaling engineering organizations and contributing to business growth through talent development, operating systems, reusable technology, disciplined investment, and delivery excellence.
- Demonstrate executive, client, and commercial judgment and the ability to communicate technical tradeoffs, make decisions through ambiguity, and remain accountable for outcomes.
- Work collaboratively across technical, commercial, and client-facing functions in complex and rapidly changing environments.
Responsibilities
- Set enterprise architecture strategy, principles, decision rights, and reusable reference patterns across client engagements.
- Lead architecture decisions and design reviews, balancing business value, security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and cost.
- Define how Salesforce, Apex, Python, APIs, data, integration, cloud services, and analytics work together across enterprise solutions.
- Establish engineering practices for source control, peer review, testing, CI/CD, environments, release management, observability, rollback, and incident learning.
- Develop standards for production AI and agentic engineering, including grounding, evaluation, guardrails, human oversight, security, cost, and lifecycle management.
- Evaluate Salesforce, integration, data, cloud, and AI technologies against business requirements and architectural evidence.
- Embed security, privacy, compliance, identity, access controls, encryption, resilience, vulnerability management, and incident response into engineering practices.
- Manage engineers and technical leaders, including hiring, performance, coaching, career development, succession planning, staffing, capacity, and team health.
- Develop Principal- and Lead-level technical talent through clear expectations, capability paths, communities of practice, architecture reviews, and reusable examples.
- Partner with client executives, Sales, and Delivery on discovery, solution design, estimation, technical risk, presentations, delivery commitments, and business outcomes.
