Requirements
- Have an associate’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- A bachelor’s degree, particularly in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline, is preferred.
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and quantitative skills.
- Know financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, statistical concepts, and performance reporting.
- Be able to interpret financial information, identify trends, and develop practical recommendations.
- Communicate financial information clearly to program and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Be detail-oriented and organized, and able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Be able to work independently with minimal guidance and exercise sound professional judgment.
- Be able to work effectively in a desk- and computer-based environment for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analyses of budgets, expenses, financial projects, and overall program performance.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial information for assigned accounts, products, product lines, or business units.
- Track progress against established financial goals and objectives.
- Provide end-to-end financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, earned value management, and long-range financial planning.
- Develop financial models and reports to communicate current and expected performance.
- Analyze financial indicators, including cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments.
- Collaborate with program managers, operations teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to assess risks and recommend actions.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and support reporting, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Apply independent judgment to complex financial problems and serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
