Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 8 years in market research, data analytics, business intelligence, competitive intelligence, marketing, or a related discipline within commercial pharmaceutical or biotech.
- Experience must be within commercial pharmaceutical or biotech located in the US.
- Expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, and creating clear, attractive presentations and frameworks is required.
- Strong knowledge of the US pharmaceutical market, preferably in general medicine, cardiovascular, metabolic, renal, or other larger-prevalence therapeutic areas.
- Working experience with US market data sources, including claims, EHR, Rx, audits, payer coverage, and competitive intelligence databases, is required.
- Working knowledge of the drug development process and ability to evaluate competitive clinical trial design are required.
- Knowledge or experience with the US payer and market access environment and data sources is preferred.
- Knowledge or experience with major ex-US pharmaceutical markets is preferred but not required.
- Travel up to 10%, frequently outside the local area and overnight.
Responsibilities
- Create strategic frameworks to organize and prioritize business questions for commercial planning and lifecycle management.
- Manage third-party vendors, data providers, and consultants to generate insights and data for business decisions.
- Work with marketing and market access to develop the commercial launch plan for lorundrostat in uncontrolled and resistant hypertension.
- Answer ad hoc questions on literature, epidemiology, and commercial opportunities for business development, leadership, and external presentations.
- Monitor and disseminate competitive activity in therapeutic areas of interest across the organization.
- Provide input on revenue forecast updates and development.
- Manage business insights budget planning and spend.
