Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in a technical role with a customer-facing component, such as solutions engineering or data engineering.
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries and work with relational data models.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and workflow automation.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, including designing, consuming, and debugging integrations.
- Familiarity with modern data infrastructure such as Snowflake, dbt, or similar pipeline tools.
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in fintech, venture capital, or private markets.
- Ability to travel to work on-site with customers.
- High ownership mentality and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Finance or Computer Science degree strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with customers to identify data challenges and design technical solutions, including configuring integrations and automating workflows.
- Deploy and optimize AI-powered tools and educate internal/external teams on prompt engineering and LLM best practices.
- Build and extend internal tooling like importers and parsers to improve platform reliability.
- Execute bespoke data operations, including custom SQL reports and backend queries for unique customer needs.
- Own API schemas, data ingestion, Snowflake data shares, and database connections.
- Identify repeatable customer patterns and translate them into product requirements for the Engineering team.
- Support internal engineering workflows by triaging quality-of-life bugs and enhancements.
