Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience, or five years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex construction project documents and technical standards.
- Experience with proposal preparation, budget development, forecasting, and financial management.
- Ability to travel by plane, motor vehicle, or train for 50% to 90% of the work schedule.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Competency in managing multiple concurrent projects across different states.
- Must possess a cell phone and provide personal internet service.
- Physical ability to perform onsite assessments, including walking, standing, and climbing.
- PMP certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead overall project direction, completion, program management, and financial outcomes for multiple retail construction projects.
- Manage project development from beginning to end, including coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, and developers.
- Oversee project phases including entitlement, design, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, and store turnover.
- Navigate contract administration, change orders, budgets, schedules, and client delivery for multiple sites concurrently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation in proprietary or client software.
