Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of demonstrated experience with home health/hospice related billing functions.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and presenting trainings in individual or large group settings.
- Previous experience in project management (preferred).
- Previous management experience (preferred).
- Knowledge of home health/hospice billing and collections processes.
- Ability to interpret and apply reimbursement guidelines and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to the billing and collections reimbursement team.
- Assist team members with researching claim-related issues and resolve open billing issues.
- Train and orient new employees.
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to department management.
- Maintain deep knowledge of billing system functions and maximize their effective use.
- Distribute weekly accounts receivable (AR) reports and review aging reports.
- Monitor eSolutions claims editor to ensure all claims are worked to completion.
- Manage and lead billing reimbursement and collection staff meetings.
