Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing experience across integrated marketing, digital performance marketing, 1:1 marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience leading, coaching, and motivating high-performing marketing teams.
  • Strong strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to translate broader business objectives into clear, actionable marketing strategies and plans.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and making data-driven, ROI-focused investment decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Working knowledge of paid search, SEO, website optimisation, and conversion rate optimisation.
  • Growth mindset with genuine enthusiasm for innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), and data visualisation platforms.
  • Commercially minded, customer-focused leadership approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and optimisation of integrated go-to-market strategies, using customer, competitor, market, and performance insights to shape propositions, campaigns, and priorities.
  • Own marketing performance across the portfolio, using data and commercial insights to identify growth opportunities, improve funnel performance, and maximise return on investment.
  • Build strong relationships with university partners and internal stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and creating alignment around shared objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team while setting clear strategic direction, priorities, and ways of working for the marketing squad.
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered effectively, measured consistently, and continuously optimised.
  • Champion the customer experience by staying close to the customer journey and translating insights into more meaningful and effective marketing connections.
  • Foster a test-and-learn culture by identifying opportunities to innovate, experiment, scale successful initiatives, and continuously improve performance.
  • Manage marketing budgets and investment decisions, making informed commercial trade-offs across the portfolio.
  • Apply strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including paid search, SEO, website optimisation, conversion rate optimisation, and emerging discovery channels.
