Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- A qualification in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, CS, Finance) or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least six years of experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
- At least three years of experience leading BI, Data, or Analytics specialists.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Extensive experience developing semantic models for enterprise reporting.
- Strong data-modelling expertise, including dimensional modelling.
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills.
- Strong dashboard development and data visualisation experience using Power BI.
- Experience adapting technical information for diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead and empower a team of BI, Data, and Analytics specialists.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business challenges into practical reporting and modeling solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performing data models and semantic reporting layers.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to improve data visibility and self-service access.
- Apply DevOps practices such as version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Manage BI and analytics project roadmaps from planning through implementation.
- Support and train users on BI tools and the interpretation of findings.
