Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in consultative sales, account management, or business development.
- Required experience within the commercial Property & Casualty insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance claims processes and operational workflows.
- Ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Strong analytical and project-management capabilities.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through close.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue objectives through structured account planning, opportunity management, and effective sales execution.
- Develop strategic account plans to protect existing revenue and identify opportunities for account expansion.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including claims executives, operations leaders, SIU teams, and technology leaders.
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations to understand customer objectives, operational challenges, and workflows.
- Identify, develop, negotiate, and close new business opportunities across existing and prospective commercial insurance accounts.
- Create customer retention strategies to support engagement and solution adoption.
- Perform gap analyses and develop account growth strategies.
- Partner with product specialists, implementation teams, and sales support to deliver effective outcomes.
- Monitor commercial claims trends and industry challenges to inform account strategies.
- Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders using Salesforce and other sales tools.
