Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in program management, project management, strategic planning, acquisition support, or financial management for DoD programs.
- Experience managing programmatic risks, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives involving cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Experience supporting budget development, PPBE processes, financial planning, obligation tracking, and expenditure management.
- Experience developing acquisition documentation including SOWs, PWSs, acquisition strategies, and contractor proposal evaluations.
- Experience leading meetings, working groups, and IPTs across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to brief senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively within a team.
- Active security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) preferred (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and develop mitigation strategies for programmatic risks related to cost, schedule, and performance.
- Establish, monitor, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support leadership decision-making.
- Lead the development of long-range strategic plans, modernization initiatives, and technology refresh roadmaps.
- Manage budget planning, formulation, justification, and execution within the PPBE process.
- Support acquisition by developing SOWs, PWSs, and evaluating contractor proposals.
- Organize and lead high-level meetings, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and stakeholder engagements.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the program office and DoD organizations like NAVSEA and NAVAIR.
