Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in financial market data or trading infrastructure.
- Deep understanding of market data licensing, redistribution constraints, and exchange entitlements.
- Expertise in building and scaling API-based products (REST, WebSocket/SSE, historical endpoints).
- Experience developing commercial models, including pricing and packaging strategies for financial data.
- Strong ability to evaluate complex build-vs-buy data infrastructure decisions.
- Capability to balance commercial upside with cost, latency, and reliability requirements.
- Familiarity with the needs of diverse financial clients such as neobrokers, RIAs, and hedge funds.

Responsibilities
- Define and own Alpaca's market data strategy both as a platform capability and a standalone, revenue-generating product.
- Negotiate exchange licensing, redistribution rights, and entitlements for new assets and venues.
- Assess and execute build-vs-buy decisions for data infrastructure and proprietary collection.
- Define pricing and packaging models for real-time, historical, and derived data products.
- Lead partner discovery to identify data needs for neobrokers, RIAs, and hedge funds.
- Own the developer experience for market data APIs, including REST, WebSocket, and SSE endpoints.
- Ensure internal teams have market data coverage that meets compliance and trading needs.
