Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, specifically with commercial data products, data feeds, or data-intensive B2B products.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing product teams to improve individual and collective performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to own the full product lifecycle from discovery through launch and scaling.
  • Strong portfolio management skills, including the ability to make difficult investment tradeoffs and prioritize across multiple products.
  • Commercial fluency with experience in pricing, packaging, and driving revenue or product economics.
  • Hands-on analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL and Python for data investigation and product assessment.
  • Technical fluency in data product architecture, including schemas, delivery mechanisms, and data quality standards.
  • Experience with alternative data, financial data, or investment research products (preferred).
  • Familiarity with quantitative investment workflows like backtesting and dataset integration (preferred).
  • Understanding of third-party data licensing, vendor dependencies, and API-based delivery (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and grow a team of product managers, strengthening their customer discovery, strategic judgment, execution, and commercial ownership.
  • Own a cohesive product portfolio strategy aligned with business goals, prioritizing investments and identifying opportunities to scale or refine products.
  • Serve as the hands-on PM for a strategically important data feed or quant-focused feed initiative, owning its vision, roadmap, and requirements.
  • Partner with commercial teams on pricing, packaging, positioning, and strategies to drive revenue growth, retention, and expansion.
  • Establish and maintain high expectations for data quality, coverage, timeliness, documentation, and delivery across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data, engineering, quant research, and partnerships to align priorities and translate customer needs into scalable product solutions.
