Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years of payroll processing experience.
  • Experience running payroll in a multi-state environment.
  • Strong background in payroll tax compliance, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Previous experience with all types of garnishments, levies, liens, support orders, and subpoenas.
  • Familiarity with benefits rules and regulations.
  • Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel and analytical reporting.
  • Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
  • Must pass Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Criminal Background Check, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and medical screenings (Physical, TB, and Drug test).
  • Must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise exempt.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate bi-weekly payroll using the Ceridian/Dayforce platform.
  • Manage employee hours, 401k data, garnishments, and tax levies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
  • Process off-cycle payrolls and year-end reporting.
  • Generate payroll analytics to ensure accuracy prior to funding.
  • Create and maintain payroll and general accounting standard operating procedures.
  • Perform Accounts Payable duties including invoice processing, vendor maintenance, and reconciliations.
