Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, accounting, or a related quantitative field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong relationship management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience with manufacturing or consumer products is a plus.
- Familiarity with NetSuite, BI tools, CRM, and financial planning applications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own recurring month-end Operations and COGS reporting packages, including preparation, validation, and distribution.
- Develop reporting packages and perform detailed variance analysis across material costs, manufacturing costs, site performance, and product mix.
- Partner with Accounting and Operations teams to investigate material variances and explain financial performance.
- Maintain tools used to track productivity initiatives, reconcile results, and highlight risks against forecasts.
- Support ongoing financial planning processes by providing in-depth analysis of COGS and integrating operational projects into financial models.
- Build dashboards and analytical tools to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and usability.
