Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership in FP&A or enterprise financial management.
  • Experience managing integrated forecasts and P&Ls across multiple divisions or complex programs.
  • Strong command of forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, variance analysis, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Ability to advise senior leaders, challenge assumptions, and recommend practical actions.
  • Advanced spreadsheet and financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with ERP, project-accounting, planning, or business-intelligence systems.
  • Strongly preferred: Finance leadership experience with a federal government contractor.
  • Strongly preferred: Working knowledge of indirect-rate management, project accounting, contract types, and FAR/CAS/DCAA requirements.
  • Strongly preferred: Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint.
  • Strongly preferred: MBA, CPA, or CMA credential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecasts, and consolidated enterprise forecast.
  • Partner with Division General Managers as their senior finance advisor, providing P&L insight and supporting growth decisions.
  • Strengthen financial accountability and translate performance gaps into clear actions with the COO.
  • Analyze contract and program profitability, including labor mix, subcontractor costs, and indirect-rate impacts.
  • Present concise financial reporting and recommendations to the executive leadership team.
  • Build reliable financial models, KPIs, and reporting processes to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with the Chief People Officer to inform merit, bonus, and incentive decisions.
  • Lead assigned Deputy CFO responsibilities, including cash management and risk management.
