Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in real estate development finance, construction lending, or related financial operations.
- Strong understanding of construction loan mechanics, draw procedures, and loan covenants.
- Experience managing insurance schedules and maintaining coverage compliance.
- Strong financial literacy with ability to interpret loan agreements and manage cashflow models.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, lenders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for managing lender relationships and cross-functional coordination.
- Strong ownership mindset with high attention to detail.
- Experience with a real estate developer, private equity firm, or construction lender is advantageous.
- Familiarity with lender draw platforms and syndicated loan structures is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the full draw-management cycle across active development projects and multiple lenders.
- Prepare and compile draw packages, including cost certifications, inspection reports, and lien waivers.
- Coordinate with lenders, inspectors, title companies, and contractors to secure timely approvals.
- Maintain master draw schedules and proactively identify funding risks or budget variances.
- Manage the insurance lifecycle, including builder's risk and liability coverage.
- Monitor interest accruals and debt-service schedules, reconciling lender statements against internal records.
- Partner with finance teams to produce weekly and monthly reporting for senior leadership.
