Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production-grade systems with user-facing APIs.
- Strong full stack foundation: backend development in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Proficiency with API design (REST, GraphQL).
- Experience with modern frontend development in React and Next.js.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems, including event-driven architectures and message queues.
- Strong database fundamentals with PostgreSQL or SQL Server (schema design, migrations, indexing, query optimization).
- Production mindset with experience in metrics, logging, tracing, and on-call participation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate full stack features end to end, from technical design through deployment and production support.
- Partner with Product and Design during discovery to shape scope, surface technical trade-offs, and provide estimates.
- Write technical designs and guide architecture decisions in partnership with Engineering Managers and other senior engineers.
- Build automated testing, observability, and operational ownership into every stage of delivery.
- Raise the team's engineering bar through code review, mentoring, and contributing to shared standards.
- Identify and resolve issues across the stack to keep systems stable and performant.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and incident follow-through.
