Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or a related function.
  • Prior leadership experience in a mature or established organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership of expense operations and procurement.
  • Practical understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, procurement processes, and financial controls.
  • Proven people leadership experience in building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Experience building and scaling processes in a growing organization.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with success in leveraging technology and automation.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • CPA designation or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead core accounting operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, General Ledger activities, and reconciliations.
  • Safeguard financial health and integrity by monitoring key financial metrics and identifying emerging risks.
  • Lead and develop the accounting operations team through coaching and mentorship.
  • Strengthen AP, AR, and procurement processes to ensure scalability and strong financial governance.
  • Drive process improvement and automation to streamline accounting workflows and enhance data integrity.
  • Partner with cross-functional finance teams and business stakeholders to support operational priorities.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting to the Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
