Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally across AP, AR, billing, and general ledger.
- Solid working knowledge of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
- Hands-on experience with cloud accounting systems such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with Ramp.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to meet close deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to independently resolve discrepancies.
- Track record of using automation or AI tools to improve accounting processes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the full AP cycle including vendor invoice processing, coding, and payment runs.
- Manage the end-to-end AR cycle, including customer invoicing, collections, and cash application.
- Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices aligned with contract terms.
- Perform daily and monthly bank and cash reconciliations.
- Review and process employee expense reports and manage the corporate card program.
- Support monthly close by preparing journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and assist with annual financial audits.
- Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and documentation.
- Identify and implement automation and AI tools to streamline accounting workflows.
