Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in financial reporting and/or technical accounting.
- Required public accounting experience (Big Four preferred).
- Strong foundation in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Experience researching accounting guidance and contributing to technical accounting memorandums.
- General knowledge of stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work within tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and complex analysis.
- CPA license (preferred).
- Experience with Workiva, Oracle, and/or Google Workspace (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and support external filings and internal reporting, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K and earnings releases.
- Draft financial statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Perform detailed tie-outs across reporting materials.
- Manage and support equity accounting under ASC 718, including monthly stock-based compensation journal entries, reconciliations, and activity analysis.
- Research and analyze routine and emerging U.S. GAAP and SEC guidance and contribute to technical accounting memorandums.
- Support external audits and SOX compliance by preparing documentation, audit schedules, and maintaining internal control documentation.
- Improve and automate financial reporting and accounting workflows using tools like Excel, Workiva, Oracle, and Google Workspace.
