Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5–7 years of experience supporting finance systems, ERP platforms, or finance transformation initiatives.
- Strong functional knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Sage Intacct) including configuration and workflows.
- Solid understanding of accounting processes such as AP, AR, GL, financial close, and reporting.
- Experience managing system integrations and collaborating with IT teams and external vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with high attention to detail.
- Experience working in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.
- Sage Intacct administration experience or certification (preferred).
- Familiarity with Vena, Salesforce, or UKG (desirable).
- Experience in nonprofit or social enterprise organizations (a plus).
Responsibilities
- Own and administer Sage Intacct and related finance systems, including configuration, module support, workflows, reporting, and optimization.
- Lead and support integrations between finance and enterprise platforms, including Salesforce, payroll, procurement, and banking systems.
- Monitor finance system data integrity, validate outputs, and maintain accurate information across accounting and treasury functions.
- Drive finance systems optimization and automation to improve workflows and reduce manual spreadsheet reliance.
- Manage ERP user roles, permissions, access governance, segregation of duties, and audit-ready documentation.
- Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners, and IT teams on system changes, testing, and issue resolution.
- Provide system support and training to finance users on functionality, reporting, and process tools.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, policies, and system documentation.
- Support BI and reporting initiatives by translating finance requirements into data definitions and management reports.
- Establish data quality controls and reporting governance to ensure compliance.
