Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Familiarity with distributed systems technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Experience navigating large codebases and performing code reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Break down projects into deliverable tasks and execute across multiple phases.
- Collaborate with product, design, and analytics to ideate and define technical constraints.
- Support the operations and availability of services through monitoring and incident resolution.
- Participate in “keep the lights on” and on-call support efforts.
- Contribute to the engineering community through mentorship and the interview process.
