Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Familiarity with building blocks of distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Strong debugging skills and experience providing feedback through code reviews.
- Ability to take ownership and proactively seek feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics teams to articulate technical constraints and risks.
- Support the operations and availability of team artifacts by creating and monitoring metrics.
- Manage escalations and participate in on-call efforts.
- Contribute to team growth by participating in the interview process.
