Requirements
- 6+ years of experience delivering product-grade software.
- Proven track record of shipping AI-powered features (LLM/imaging) to production using RAG, tool calling, or agent orchestration.
- Strong full-stack development experience.
- Experience with probabilistic software, model evaluation, and failure mode analysis.
- Expertise in Python.
- Practical experience with cloud engineering and deployment, specifically APIs and AWS (Bedrock).
- Hands-on experience building eval harnesses and defining acceptance criteria.
- Ability to articulate technical validation requirements to clinical, product, and engineering stakeholders.
- Strong product delivery instincts and scoping capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Embed with teams per cycle to own AI solutions end-to-end from intake to monitored production features.
- Set and maintain validation bars for AI initiatives to ensure clinical safety.
- Build agentic layers including tool calling, RAG, MCP integrations, and multi-step orchestration.
- Architect platform components including model serving, eval harnesses, monitoring, and prompt guardrails.
- Define acceptance criteria and validation strategies before development begins.
- Conduct AI intake and risk categorization to ensure compliance and governance.
- Create reusable assets like templates and reference architectures for other teams.
- Mentor teams to increase AI fluency and enable autonomous shipping.
