Requirements
- Current and valid multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
- Willingness and ability to become licensed in additional states as needed.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an active clinical setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of dedicated experience in a clinical quality, patient safety, or risk management role.
- Familiarity with proactive care culture principles, systemic risk management, and human factors in healthcare safety.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a record of turning safety data into actionable workflows.
- Proficiency in video conferencing, Slack, Google Workspace, and email.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and design new systems in a fast-growing environment.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve clinically related patient complaints by coordinating with radiology, patient experience, and provider teams.
- Follow up directly with patients to provide education regarding their medical history, scan results, and MRI procedures.
- Manage the internal incident reporting system and conduct root cause analyses (RCA) to identify systemic issues.
- Translate incident findings into actionable interventions to mitigate future risks.
- Partner with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and evaluate quality improvement (QI) projects.
- Monitor safety and quality data trends to proactively recommend preventative interventions.
- Serve as an advocate for a fair, transparent safety culture and conduct staff training.
- Prepare monthly quality and safety reports for leadership.
