Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in security operations, exposure management, detection engineering, or SOC operations.
- Proven experience in customer-facing presales, solutions architecture, or technology consulting.
- Deep expertise in at least two of: SIEM/SOAR (Cortex XSIAM, Sentinel, Google SecOps, Splunk) or EDR/XDR (CrowdStrike, Defender, SentinelOne).
- Expertise in threat, exposure, and vulnerability management (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz, Axonius, XM Cyber).
- Experience designing target-state security operations architectures including platform consolidation and migration strategy.
- Demonstrated experience designing risk-based vulnerability management or CTEM programs at enterprise scale.
- Working knowledge of cloud security telemetry for AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE D3FEND, ISO 27001).
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25-35%.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex client engagements for SOC architecture, SIEM/SOAR modernization, and CTEM/vulnerability operations.
- Assess client environments and deliver strategic recommendations for CISO and board-level audiences.
- Design target-state threat and exposure management architectures unifying vulnerability, cloud, and identity risk.
- Architect AI layers for security operations, including agentic enrichment and automated remediation.
- Define defensible risk scoring, remediation SLAs, and accountability models.
- Govern data foundations for agentic SOC and exposure workflows.
- Develop and maintain reference architectures, assessment frameworks, and delivery playbooks.
- Collaborate with regional teams and managed services to scope and hand off engagements.
- Provide technical enablement and certification content for regional architects and sellers.
- Serve as senior technical counterpart to priority security partners to influence roadmaps and offerings.
