Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in program management, strategy and operations, consulting, or related leadership roles within technology organizations.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex work within financial technology, banking, payments, lending, or consumer financial services.
- Undergraduate degree in a technology discipline (graduate degree preferred).
- Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional programs and special projects.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect execution to measurable business outcomes.
- Exceptional executive presence, stakeholder leadership, and influence.
- Strong executive communication and judgment to synthesize complex information.
- Technical and delivery fluency, including understanding of modern software delivery practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage program-level risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, AI, and automation for program management.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end health and coordination of Zip’s most complex, high-priority programs and special projects.
- Translate enterprise strategy into execution by defining intended outcomes, success measures, and trade-offs.
- Develop and drive integrated roadmaps across product, technology, operations, people, finance, legal, commercial, and go-to-market workstreams.
- Serve as a central point of coordination to create clear ownership, decision rights, and accountability.
- Lead escalations and facilitate complex decision-making by clarifying options and driving issues to resolution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on program direction, integration strategy, and organizational implications.
- Establish lightweight governance and reporting cadences to create transparency and accountability.
- Partner with teams to ensure critical initiatives progress successfully through delivery and stabilization.
