Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a technology discipline (graduate degree preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in program management, strategy and operations, consulting, delivery management, or related leadership roles.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex work within financial technology, banking, payments, lending, or consumer financial services.
- Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional programs with direct accountability for outcomes.
- Exceptional executive presence, stakeholder leadership, and ability to influence senior leaders.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, decision-oriented narratives.
- Strong technical and delivery fluency, including an understanding of modern software delivery practices.
- Ability to manage program-level risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, and modern program-management practices to create scalable sources of truth.
- Program or Project Management certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end health and coordination of Zip's most complex, high-priority programs and special projects.
- Translate enterprise strategy into execution by defining intended outcomes, success measures, and value-creation goals.
- Develop and drive integrated roadmaps across product, technology, operations, people, finance, legal, commercial, and go-to-market workstreams.
- Serve as a central point of coordination to establish clear ownership, decision rights, and accountability for outcomes.
- Maintain a comprehensive view of program status, risks, and dependencies while identifying systemic organizational constraints.
- Lead escalations and facilitate complex decision-making to drive issues through resolution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on program direction, integration strategy, and organizational implications.
- Establish lightweight governance and reporting cadences to create transparency and accountability.
