Requirements
- 15 years minimum of program management experience across diverse IT projects.
- Master’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Data Science, Informatics, Business, or related field.
- Proficiency in systems development life cycle (SDLC) and strategic information planning.
- Experience in enterprise-wide network engineering and business process reengineering.
- Demonstrated understanding of SAFe Lean Agile principles and practices.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of projects effectively.
- Strong skills in qualitative and quantitative program evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 / National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
- Prior experience with large integrated health system programs preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or SAFe certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical program leadership across six workstreams to align AI inventory, risk management, strategy, and operations.
- Develop the AI center of excellence operational playbook, staffing models, and standard operating procedures.
- Document and recommend distributed AI innovation and governance processes.
- Design and support the operational model for field partnership pilot projects.
- Lead support for VHA business units in creating and updating AI innovation and governance strategies.
- Manage program cost, schedule, and performance while mitigating risks.
- Serve as the primary escalation point to government leadership regarding delivery and resourcing.
- Coordinate administrative planning and content development for AI oversight committees.
