Requirements
- Expertise in AWS VPC design, cross-region/account data movement, private connectivity, and VPN.
- Ability to design complex, least-privilege IAM policies.
- Experience with RDS, Aurora, and SQL Server, including read replicas.
- Proficiency with S3 access patterns and bucket policies.
- Experience using Terraform or CDK to a production standard.
- Kubernetes administration skills.
- Experience with GitOps delivery using tools like Argo CD.
- Ownership and management of CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong preference for automation, autoscaling, and self-healing systems.
- Experience working in healthcare or other regulated, audited environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the AWS infrastructure for the data platform, defined as code.
- Build and maintain the deployment path, using GitOps and continuous delivery.
- Design least-privilege access to production data sources including credentials, network routes, and permissions.
- Stand up observability for the platform to ensure built-in reliability.
- Administer the Kubernetes workloads on which the platform runs.
- Partner with the security team to maintain compliance in a regulated environment.
- Automate operational work rather than performing manual tasks.
