Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software, infrastructure, DevOps, platform, or site reliability engineering experience.
- Hands-on AWS production experience including IAM, Lambda, networking, and multi-account organizations.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) with automated testing, static analysis, and deployment gates.
- Strong Python development experience and working familiarity with JavaScript-based stacks.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker with ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of cloud security posture management tools (e.g., Wiz, semgrep, Snyk).
- Experience building observability into distributed systems using tools like Sentry, Datadog, CloudWatch, or Grafana.
- Experience with AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot) in a daily workflow.
- Experience building and shipping customer-facing product features.
Responsibilities
- Own the CI/CD foundation for AI-assisted and agentic development with automated testing, security scans, and progressive delivery.
- Provide engineers with self-service tooling, ephemeral environments, and local development support.
- Build centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting across the AWS footprint.
- Lead security engineering, remediating vulnerabilities and automating secure-by-default patterns.
- Migrate hand-built AWS resources to Infrastructure as Code and improve disaster recovery.
- Build and operate AI agents for automated alert triage and incident investigation.
- Contribute to backend cloud service development for customer-facing features.
