Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in revenue or e-commerce analytics.
- Direct experience supporting affiliate marketing, digital advertising, or online retail operations.
- 2+ years of people management experience.
- 3+ years of experience analyzing diverse revenue models (affiliate, programmatic, DTC).
- 3+ years of experience in A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and pricing/placement experiments.
- Advanced mastery of SQL.
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- Ability to build end-to-end commercial dashboards and financial reporting models.
- 1+ years of experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento), ad tech/SSP platforms, or affiliate networks preferred.
- Proficiency in Python or R preferred.
- Quantitative degree in Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or Data Science preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and mentor a team of two direct reports while managing career growth.
- Analyze affiliate revenue drivers including merchant commissions, EPC, conversion rates, and partner yield.
- Lead analytics for the Wirecutter Store, reporting on unit economics, cart funnel performance, AOV, and customer metrics.
- Partner with Ad Ops and Advertising teams to track ad yield, fill rates, and unit viewability balanced against user experience.
- Evaluate trade-offs between affiliate, ad, and product placements to create a holistic monetization framework.
- Lead recurring commercial reporting for leadership, communicating revenue dynamics, forecasting, and expansion opportunities.
