Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, business, operations, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a customer service or operations-focused role; healthcare or e-commerce experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a genuine focus on helping patients and addressing their needs.
  • Interest or experience in operations, including the ability to monitor workflows and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a consistent approach to following up on issues through resolution.
  • Comfortable working with customer service and operational technology, including Zendesk, Athena, and spreadsheets used for tracking orders and interactions.
  • Familiarity with Shopify is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy, medical, e-commerce, and external partner teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for patients with questions or concerns about pharmacy orders, providing timely, accurate, and compassionate support.
  • Coordinate with pharmacy partners to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and fulfilled and shipped within expected timelines.
  • Monitor pharmacy operations and order status, proactively identifying potential delays or fulfillment issues.
  • Work with pharmacy and medical teams to resolve order discrepancies, prescription-related issues, and other operational challenges.
  • Provide customer support through phone, email, and Athena messaging while maintaining a high standard of patient service.
  • Identify opportunities to improve pharmacy order fulfillment processes, customer interactions, and operational workflows.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, operational issues, and resolutions.
  • Prepare and provide performance updates and reports highlighting operational trends and potential areas for improvement.
