Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Platform, Infrastructure, Developer Experience, DevEx, DevOps, or related engineering roles.
- Proven ability to independently architect and deliver complex systems with minimal oversight.
- Strong experience with APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and data-intensive applications.
- Hands-on experience with AI agent primitives such as Skills, MCPs, Hooks, SDKs, multi-agent systems, routing, context management, and cost management.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Nix/NixOS, Homebrew, or MDM platforms.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and AWS.
- Professional development experience with Terraform, Go, and TypeScript.
- Significant Linux administration experience.
- Experience working with Git and modern software development workflows.
- Experience using CI tooling or platforms and building reliable continuous integration and delivery workflows.
- Experience participating in a regular engineering on-call rotation.
- Previous experience working in startup environments.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with engineering teams and leadership to identify productivity opportunities, determine what to measure, and prioritize what to build or adopt.
- Learn how different engineering teams work, identify workflow bottlenecks, and design solutions that improve development speed, quality, and throughput.
- Evaluate emerging software development tools, AI capabilities, infrastructure technologies, cloud services, and platforms to determine their practical value.
- Partner with individual contributors and engineering teams to introduce new tools, gather feedback, and continuously iterate on solutions.
- Design systems and workflows that can be consumed effectively by both human developers and AI agents.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines optimized for high throughput, automation, and agent interaction.
- Develop and maintain application platforms supporting both external product development and internal engineering use cases.
- Drive distribution, adoption, and usability of productivity tools.
- Collect qualitative feedback and technical telemetry to maintain visibility into tool performance, adoption, and engineering needs.
